Travel Planning & Terms

Naturally, a FMTY / TMTY travel date requires a bit more logistical preparation than a spontaneous meetup in Berlin. 

Here are a few points to keep in mind:

  • Major cities for first-time meetings: If we haven't met before, our first encounter should take place in a major city. For destinations within Germany, a direct train connection from Berlin is required; for international destinations, an airport with direct flights from Berlin.
  • Travel expenses: For my travel, I charge a fair flat fee covering tickets, travel time (and snacks!). This is required upfront along with my standard deposit to lock in the date and organize all travel arrangements.
  • Minimum booking duration: If I am traveling several hours to see you, we should have plenty of time for each other. As a rule of thumb, the minimum booking duration roughly matches the one-way travel time from Berlin to your location.
    However, the best arrangements are always longer dates, such as overnight stays or multi-day trips.
  • The hotel: You book a hotel room that perfectly suits your taste and preferences.
